Midgard is arranged in the middle of the Nine Realms and is also our Earth. Odin, Vili and Ve created the first humans from a log.

Midgard and Asgard are connected by the Bifrost Bridge. Midgard is surrounded by a huge, impassable ocean.

But the ocean is occupied by a giant sea snake, the Midgard Serpent. It was a monster of enormous size. It is so large that it can completely surround the Earth and bite itself on its own tail.

Jotunheim: World of Giants

Jotunheim is the home of giants (also known as Jotuns). They are the st patricks clothes  sworn enemies of Aesir. Jotunheim consists mainly of ice and jungle. Because of this, the giants lived mainly from fish from the rivers, and from animals from the forest.

The Titans and Aesir fought continuously over Ymir's feud. But of course there are exceptions. Loki is also from Jotunheim, but he is accepted by Aesir and lives in Asgard. 

Alfheim: the world of light

Alfheim is located right next to Asgard and is a haven for light-loving beings. Here, the light elves are considered the "guardian angels" of Freyr, the rulers of Alfheim.

These elves are in charge of nature and procreation, and can help or hinder humans with their knowledge of endless magical powers. In addition, they also often inspire art or music. 

Svartalfheim: World of Dwarves

Svartalfheim/Nidavellir is the home of dwarves, who live under large rocks or in caves, even underground. Dwarves are masters of craft, especially forging weapons. The gods of Asgard have received many powerful gifts from here such as the magical ring Draupnir or Odin's famous Gungnir spear
