Voodoo beliefs have a history of over 10,000 years, stemming from the faith of the people of Benin (Africa) in supernatural powers.

The Voodoo creed is considered one of the oldest festivals in the world. Today, this belief still exists and is on the list of the most unique and bizarre festivals in the world.

In the Ouidah region of Benin - an African country considered a holy place for the gods, Voodoo practitioners, like shamans, will take over the worship of the gods.

Voodoo is highly regarded in Benin

Every year, the Voodoo festival attracts crowds of custom baseball jersey  curious people with dozens of unique rituals. Animal sacrifice is considered by the people here as a good thing with the idea that if you sacrifice something to the gods, they will bless you and give you health. This sacrifice appears in many myths in both Nigeria, Togo, Ghana, neighboring countries of Benin.

Africa is full of mysteries with unique festivals and customs, Voodoo is also one of them. Voodoo is known as a mixture of beliefs from all over West Africa and different parts of the world.

Ganesh can be found in the temple of Manonwomin. Or another Voodoo might take the python as a god and build a temple for the python.

“We feed the pythons once every seven days,” said Jean Zossojbo, guide of the python temple. Sometimes we will bring them to the catholic churches and bring them back to this temple.”

Because of the very specific characteristics of Voodoo

many researchers have classified Voodoo as a religion, located in the cultural system of the Benin people.

Mr. Greg Fry, a Canadian visitor to the festival, said: “Voodoo makes me curious to know what role it plays in society here, when many things I see here are far from what I am. read about Voodoo".

In the past, Benin was a slave nation. The Benin people were 3D printed hoodie  carried around and returned to their homeland with what they learned. This is also the reason for their mixed Voodoo culture.

However, besides the belief that connects people with nature and gods in Voodoo rituals, the bigger thing seen in Voodoo festival is the community cohesion of the slaves in the old Benin society.
